Large Room Coverage From a Wall Mounted Unit
The AM 4 PC puts the biggest AeraMax Pro on the wall: a wide, hard wired unit for open offices, staff rooms and classrooms where floor space is already taken by desks and chairs.
It is the wall mounted twin of the floor standing AM 4S PC. Fellowes quote coverage of 65 to 110 square metres in their product copy and 60 to 110 square metres in their specification data, with 3 to 5 air changes per hour. Either way it is the unit for large shared rooms, about twice the coverage of the AM 3 PC.
Installation is electrician territory: the Fellowes manual requires a qualified person for both the mounting and the wiring. Mounted high, it keeps cables and casing out of reach, and the side PureView screen still shows staff the live air quality, the particles captured and the room status.
EnviroSmart sensors set the fan speed from what they detect about occupancy and air quality. Behind the front panel sit four filter stages built around an H13 True HEPA filter, with a carbon layer that Fellowes say reduces odours and VOCs. The warranty listed by Fellowes Australia is 5 years limited.
