A Portable AM 3 With a Screen That Shows the Room
The AM 3S PC is the floor standing, carry-handle version of the mid-size AeraMax Pro, for meeting rooms, waiting rooms and classrooms where the unit may move between spaces.
Fellowes size it for shared rooms of 30 to 55 square metres, delivering 3 to 5 air changes per hour. Because it sits on its own stand there is nothing to fix to the wall, and Fellowes call it a portable air purifier.
The PC in the name is the particle counter behind the PureView screen. It shows live air quality data, the percentage of particles captured and a status for the room, so occupants can see the unit working. EnviroSmart sensors watch occupancy and air quality and step the purifier up or down, which Fellowes say saves energy and filter life when the room is quiet.
Filtration is 4 stage: a pre-filter, activated carbon for odours and VOCs, and an H13 True HEPA filter with an antimicrobial treatment against bacteria growth on the filter. Fellowes also list their PlasmaTrue ionising technology on this model. Warranty is 5 years limited, per Fellowes AU.
