Start from the booklist before comparing anything else. Ruling is set by the year level and subject, so a book with the wrong spacing is the wrong tool rather than a close match. Page count matters because a book running out mid-term has to be replaced and re-covered. Name everything at the start. See exercise books, subject books and student stationery.
