Twine Strings
Two properties separate these. Breaking strain has to exceed the bundle with margin, since the load spikes when a parcel is lifted rather than at rest. And knot behaviour varies: natural fibres such as jute and sisal grip a knot readily and rot outdoors, while synthetic twine is stronger and slipperier and wants a better knot. See packing tape, shipping tags and cartons.
