Removable Labels
The property people rely on is time-limited, which is what catches out anyone labelling stock that sits for a season. Within the stated window the label peels from packaging, glass and painted surfaces with no residue; well beyond it the adhesive cures and takes the surface with it. Match the window to how long the label stays on. See multipurpose labels, price marking and removable tapes.
