Posca Markers
These behave like paint rather than ink, which is the difference that matters. The colour is opaque, so white and pastels sit over black card, timber, glass and plastic instead of vanishing into them the way felt tip does. A new marker needs shaking and the tip pressed down until paint flows, and skipping that step is why people think the first one is faulty. See craft markers and craft paints.
