Packing Bubble Wraps
Cell size does two different jobs and using one for both is the common mistake. Small cells sit close to a surface and protect against scuffs and light knocks, which suits framed work, glassware and electronics in a snug box. Large cells trap more air and fill the gap between an irregular item and the carton wall, stopping movement in transit. Wrap bubbles inward. See packing cartons, tape and shipping bags.
