The feet are the compromise. A wide splayed base is stable and protrudes into the walkway where people catch them; a narrow foot keeps the floor clear and tips more readily. Linking two or more screens at an angle solves it entirely, since they brace each other. Height follows whether you are blocking sightlines or sound.
