The racing-seat shape is built around a reclined posture, and the raised side bolsters that make it look the part also restrict how you shift position over a long working day. If the chair is for study or gaming in bursts, that is fine. If someone is working in it full time, look at the lumbar adjustment and seat depth as carefully as you would on a task chair.
