Driver Plates

The rules are not national, so confirm what your state requires before buying a set: colour, size and where plates must be displayed all vary, and so does whether a magnetic or a suction fitting is acceptable. Magnetic plates need bare steel to hold and will not stay on an aluminium or plastic panel, which is common on newer vehicles. Carry a spare. See magnets, safety signs and workspace essentials.
