Bounce Rubber Bands
Choose the size to fit the bundle relaxed rather than stretched, because a band held near its limit hardens and snaps far sooner. Natural rubber content decides elasticity and how long it lasts in a drawer. Heat and sunlight age them regardless, so store them away from a window and buy the quantity you will actually use. See filing fasteners, paper clips and office supplies.
