Finish is the decision and each one trades something. Gloss gives the deepest colour and shows every fingerprint, which matters if the print is handled or framed without glass. Satin sits between and is the safe default. Matte removes reflection entirely and suits text-heavy or displayed work under downlights. Check the paper is rated for your printer type.
