Grey suits a run of files that needs to be uniform and quiet rather than flagged, which is the usual requirement in archive rooms, deed storage and long term retention rather than in an active drawer. It is also a colour that leaves a printed label doing the work.

Four lines are printed on the carton photographed here and they are the whole of what Marbig claim: a board called strong and durable, corners that are rounded, a spine creased before packing so the folder opens out, and fastener positions supplied already cut. We publish those four and nothing beyond them.

Companion products for an archive run are shelved under filing and storage and archive boxes.
