The underside carries a dense grid of gripper spikes that press down into carpet pile, which is what stops the mat wandering as the chair moves across it. The published rating for the 87191 is carpet with a pile depth of up to 12mm, covering the low and medium pile carpet used through most commercial offices and home studies.

At 1200mm by 1500mm this is the larger of the two rectangular carpet sizes listed. It takes the desk footprint and the chair travel in front of it without the castors running off an edge. The clear finish leaves the carpet colour showing through.

This is the carpet version of the Tuffmat range.
