GBC put a single A4 sheet in an 80 micron pouch at 36 seconds and 16 A4 sheets at ten minutes, which is the number that tells you whether a class set or a signage run will hold up the person doing it. A one minute warm up matters for the same reason: it is dead time at the start of every session.

Entry guide LEDs show where to feed the pouch so it goes in square, a status LED signals when the machine is ready, and a reverse release backs a jammed pouch out rather than forcing it through. It shuts itself off after fifteen minutes idle.

It is a pouch machine, so it needs pouches rather than roll film.
