Fellowes say it clears a full 350 sheet load in about 8 minutes, and it runs on a 45 minute duty cycle. Each sheet is cut to 4 x 38 mm pieces (security level P-4) that fill a 68 litre pull-out bin in a cabinet on castors. A 12 sheet manual slot handles CDs, credit cards and loose pages.

Fellowes pitch it at small offices of three to five users. Folded, crumpled, stapled and clipped sheets can go in as they are. A touch screen runs it, SilentShred cuts the noise, Auto Reverse clears jams and Sleep Mode shuts it down after two minutes idle. Fellowes cover the machine for 2 years and the cutters for 20.

The AutoMax 350C/550C/600M manual is on this page, including the oiling routine.
