Each disc holds 6 colours around an empty well for mixing, and you unscrew each disc to reveal the pans. The clear screw top lid is compartmentalised underneath for use as a palette. The supplier lists them for students in the classroom, outdoor plein air painting and the studio.

To paint, work a wet brush into the round colour; the more you work it, the more intense the colour, says the supplier. Each pan measures 22mm. When the lesson ends, the discs screw back together into one stack that packs into a bag.

Larger 24 and 36 colour sets are listed separately.
