This one carries much more between bag changes while keeping the same clean, rectangular look. Weatherdon's photo shows it standing at the end of a white kitchen island on a timber floor, which is the sort of open plan space where a tidy, fingerprint resistant brushed finish earns its keep.

The pedal raises the lid and the soft close action lowers it gently, and Weatherdon's motion shot shows the lid rising in stages on its rear hinge. Lift it fully by hand to 90 degrees and it locks open for emptying, so the liner can be pulled out with both hands.

The slimmer 30 L model is 7697300.
