Media runs 20mm to 112mm wide and up to 25,400mm long. The control panel is 1 button and a single three-colour LED, with no LCD. Emulation is FBPL-EZD, covering EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL, and Brother supplies BarTender Ultra Lite.

The cutter is fitted in the factory rather than added later, so the printer arrives ready to cut. One trade to know: Brother lists the tear bar as not applicable on the cutter variant, and the release mode becomes cutter rather than continuous and tear off. Fitted depth is 333mm and weight 2.87 kg.

Brother publishes no recommended price, no packed weight and no end-of-life status for this model, so we do not quote any.
