Fluoro Green. 75 x 48.8mm. 1500 labels on the roll. Permanent adhesive, 138gsm paper. Avery code 932620.

The label is pre-printed ACCEPTED. That is what it says, and Avery attaches no definition to the word beyond it.

The colour is there to be seen, and that is all Avery says about it. Avery's page for this code makes no statement about colour at all beyond naming it, and across the range their only colour wording anywhere is about visibility. There is no colour code: no colour stands for urgency, a category, a status or a state. The range itself settles it - fluoro yellow carries eleven different messages, and the Fragile label is sold in yellow and in red with the same text on both. Our own copy had built a system on top of that, and the system was ours.

These four are not a system. Avery sells Accepted, Hold, Quarantine and Rejected as four printed messages. They never cross-reference each other, Avery defines none of the words, and the same boilerplate sentence appears on Urgent and Invoice Enclosed too. They are not even matched as a set - the four come in different sizes and different roll counts. Whatever the word means in your process is what you decide it means.

What Avery says it does. These quick and easy to apply pre-printed 'ACCEPTED' labels identify goods that need special attention for delivery.

Their published feature bullets for this code, in full: Permanent adhesive ensures labels adhere to boxes and parcels, The labels provide a clear visual managing incoming parcels, stock and pallets to ensure warehousing efficiencies and Durable dispenser box which easily dispenses labels.

Avery names no standard and no requirement. Not an Australian Standard, not an ISO number, not a dangerous goods code, not a carrier or courier rule, not a transport regulation, not a quality management standard. What Avery publishes is a printed paper label with a permanent adhesive. If a carrier, an auditor or a regulator requires a particular marking, check that requirement directly rather than assuming this label meets it.

A correction. Our own listing for this code claimed that the colours form a pass and fail system, that the word means the goods have passed an inspection and that it is the counterpart to another label in the range. Avery publishes none of it, so it has been removed.

Avery publishes no core size for the roll, no standard and no carrier requirement and no definition of the printed word.
