avery-86804-buff-spring-transfer-file-black-print-foolscap-25-pack
Avery Buff Spring Transfer File Black Print Foolscap 326gsm 25 Pack

Buff Spring Transfer File Black Print Foolscap 326gsm 25 Pack

25 buff foolscap spring transfer files, 241 x 355mm, 326gsm paper board, with the fastener already fitted.

Avery fits these with two metal transfer prongs and corresponding coil springs. The springs pull the pages into an arch so you can get at any point in the file, and Avery positions the product as an efficient alternative to a lever arch file.

Avery states the file only expands as the number of pages goes in, which is the space argument for using one of these instead of a lever arch on a shelf.

One thing Avery does not tell you. They never state whether documents need to be punched to go on the prongs, and we are not going to assume it for them. If that decides whether this product works for you, ask us and we will confirm it with the supplier before you order.

The cover carries a pre-printed panel in black for writing the contents on. It is a panel on the front, not ruling inside the file.

The board weights run against expectation. Buff files in this range are 326gsm and the coloured files are 270gsm, so the plain-looking one is the heavier board. That holds across the whole range and is not a typo on Avery's part.

Avery publishes no capacity for these files, neither a sheet count nor a thickness, so we are not going to state one. This is not the tubeclip fastener. Avery publishes a paper capacity and an add-anywhere claim for the tubeclip fastener itself; neither is published anywhere in the spring range, so neither appears here.

Avery lists which colours exist and assigns no meaning to any of them, so any colour convention you run is yours rather than a scheme Avery has defined. Spiral spring action files in the same board are Avery codes 84504, 85104, 85204, 85304, 85404, 86514, 86524, 86534 and the five packs 88544 to 88550.

Avery code 86804. It sits in our spring file range, inside the wider filing and storage category, alongside everything else we carry from Avery and the rest of the catalogue.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0863/5419/8784/files/Avery_SpringTransferFile_Buff_BlackPrint_FC_86804_hero_Mega_Office_Supplies.jpg?v=1791399220
https://megaschoolsupplies.com.au/products/avery-86804-buff-spring-transfer-file-black-print-foolscap-25-pack
