Fellowes describe this as a 10mm carbon filter whose activated carbon adsorbs a wide range of volatile organic compounds and odours, with a pre-filter that captures larger particulate to help extend the life of the filters behind it.

Fellowes put the average life at approximately 6 months, so a pack of four keeps one purifier going for about two years, or covers a change across four units. Facilities teams running several AM 3/4 purifiers can stock this pack alongside the True HEPA two pack and swap carbon filters on a regular schedule.

Want more odour capacity? Fellowes also make a full carbon filter with twice the activated carbon.
